The bishops of California invite all parishes to celebrate World Marriage Day on Feb. 9, 2025. Held the Sunday closest to St. Valentine’s Day, World Marriage Day is a beautiful opportunity to radiate love.

Let’s Get Started! 

  1. Pray – Pray with the Radiate Love prayer card, offer a blessing for all married and engaged couples at mass, and pray for married, engaged, and dating couples in the prayers of the faithful
  2.  
  3. Encourage Closeness – invite the couples in your parish to go on a date! This can be a night out or as simple as taking a walk together, drinking coffee before the kids are up, or holding hands for five minutes while talking about your day
  4.  
  5. Educate – Talk about the vocation of marriage through the catechetical resources for K-12 this Sunday.
