This bill requires Medi-Cal to cover the abortion pill, and allow doctors to prescribe by their judgment, which would include by telehealth, mail, or past 10 weeks of pregnancy. We are always opposed to abortion expansion because it takes the lives of 154,000 children in California. Lowering the oversight of abortion is also detrimental to the health and safety of women.
