AB 3 would require the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission to develop a 2nd phase plan and strategy that analyzes the recommendations and alternatives for offshore wind energy developments. This study will allow the research of offshore energy projects necessary to meet with California’s climate action goals and the transition to a clean energy economy.
