The bill would require that participation in sex-segregated activities including sports, and use of bathrooms, locker rooms and overnight accommodations be based on the student’s biological sex. There are 6500 genes expressed differently between men’s and women’s bodies. After puberty, males have 10 to 30 times more testosterone than females. These physical differences between men and women make separate categories for male and female sports necessary for fairness and safety. This bill also protects the privacy, modesty, and safety of students in locker rooms, bathrooms, and overnight accommodations.
