This bill would expand eligibility for low-income families for state preschool, make it easier for children to transition between state and private preschool, and improve the rate reimbursement for childcare services, reflecting the loss of 4-year-old children who begin attending transitional kindergarten. This important legislation will create a just transition for community-based providers.
