Advocating for High Quality Schools to Benefit All Children

Of all the things we do to help our children learn – from checking homework to volunteering – advocating for quality K-12 education can fall far land down the lists.

But it’s critical to the good of all California children – in public and private schools – that we communicate to our elected representatives the importance of high quality education.

[Name of School] is joining with our Catholic community throughout California to build a grassroots advocacy network of parents, teachers and others interested in securing high quality K-12 education. The group will be a part of the Catholic Legislative Network – the grassroots advocacy program of the Catholic Bishops of California. And, best of all, it only takes a few moments to participate.

By joining you will receive regular information and analysis on education issues as well as invitations to contact elected representatives when important measures are considered in Sacramento and Washington D.C. You’ll also receive the regular newsletter of the Bishops on public policy issues designed to help subscribers evaluate issues with a clear understanding of Church teaching and a non-partisan examination of subjects.

Join with thousands of others around the state in making a difference for our children’s education and advancing the common good. Visit www.cacatholic.org to join and be sure to check the Education box.
